Tom Shugrue
President and Senior Principal

Mr. Shugrue joined CCM in July 1999. He has more than 30 years of experience as an institutional fixed income salesman and sales manager. Mr. Shugrue entered the business in 1974 with Smith Barney in New York and has also worked with Prudential Securities and Legg Mason. Mr. Shugrue graduated from Villanova University in 1969 and received an MBA from Georgia State University in 1974. A captain in the US Marine Corps, he served a tour of duty in the Republic of South Vietnam.

Steve Chaires
Principal/Partner and Senior Trader

Mr. Chaires joined CCM in 2003 and is head of the trading desk as well as business development and marketing. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. degree in Economics and Management. Mr. Chaires holds Series 7, 63, and 27 licenses.
